About Nina
NinaLovina is a contemporary artist and certified art therapist whose practice sits at the intersection of imagination, subconscious exploration, and visual expression. Her work is informed by a rare dual background in both creative and scientific engineering disciplines, allowing her to approach art through intuition, structure, and deep perceptual awareness.
The Art Journey
Before fully dedicating herself to art, Nina trained and worked as an electrical engineer, developing a strong foundation in systems thinking, energy, and pattern recognition. Alongside this, her long-standing interest in quantum physics continues to influence her artistic philosophy. Particularly the understanding of reality as relational, dynamic, and shaped by observation and inner state.
This synthesis of science and creativity underpins her approach. Nina does not treat imagination as something abstract or indulgent, but as a subtle field of information. One that can be sensed, explored, and translated into form.
Alongside her artistic practice, Nina is trained in art therapy and is a L1 practitioner within the Aletheia coaching framework. This background allows her to hold space with depth, clarity, and ethical integrity, supporting clients in accessing their inner world in a way that feels grounded, safe, and precise. Her artworks are characterised by dreamy landscapes, abstract and surreal forms, and a refined balance between stillness and movement. Rather than illustrating ideas, Nina creates visual echoes of internal states. Translating colour, rhythm, mood, and symbolic impressions into artworks that feel spacious, resonant, and quietly powerful.
In her one-on-one work, Nina guides clients through a subtle process of inner exploration and imagination. From what emerges, she creates artworks that are not decorative responses, but considered interpretations of inner landscapes. Each piece is shaped with sensitivity to the individual, the intended environment, and the relationship between inner perception and outer space.
